Glen Canyon Conservancy
Glen Canyon Conservancy (GCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cooperating association founded in 1986 as Glen Canyon Natural History Association. GCC seeks to preserve the magic and beauty of Powell country for generations of future explorers.
Operating in cooperation with local, state and federal partners, GCC provides exceptional retail and information services across three visitor centers in Northern Arizona as well as the Powell Museum & Archive located in Page, AZ. Visitors to these locations are inspired to deepen their appreciation of local public lands through a wealth of informative materials.
Proceeds from retail sales and generous donations to GCC directly impact our public lands partners through support of ongoing education and outreach initiatives. From tribal consultations and classroom programs, to trail restoration and wildlife conservation, GCC supports a diverse range of valuable natural and cultural preservation efforts.
